New Village Market Offers Gourmet Goodies & Delicious Dining

I was thrilled to try out one of Shreveport’s newest restaurants during my recent trip. The Village Market celebrated with a grand opening in September 2007 within the new 377-acre Provenance neighborhood development in South Shreveport. Billed as a “high-end deli,” the market serves lunch and dinner, and is lined with shelves stocked with take-home goodies, such as specialty cake mixes and other items that great gourmet gift baskets are made of.  During my visit, I enjoyed a generously sized salad and slice of cheesecake and give both high marks.
