Sure, there are companies such as McDonald’s and Wal-Mart that do business here. But Northwest Louisiana also has several international companies that have established regional headquarters as well.

Coiled steel firm Ternium – formerly Steelscape – is based in Argentina, while Frymaster actually started in Shreveport but is now owned by a British company. Other international companies that are doing well in Northwest Louisiana include India-based Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, along with Australian-based businesses BST Manufacturing and Pratt Industries.
