Patwardhan Named Young Professional of the Year

The winner is:  Dr. Ravish Patwardhan.

Patwardhan won the inaugural Young Professional of the Year Award, presented by the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. He was honored for his business success, leadership and community involvement. Patwardhan is one of America’s top surgeons and the founder of several nonprofit organizations that provide medical research and development as well as community education and health-care support.

He and 39 other young professionals were recognized in 2007 at the chamber’s first 40 Under 40 Gala and Awards Dinner.
